Free Seminar about Legal & Law Enforcement Careers

Project Self-Sufficiency will offer a free seminar about legal and law enforcement careers on February 26th.

A free seminar about careers in the legal and law enforcement professions will be offered to teens and adults on Thursday, February 26th, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency. Retired New Jersey Superior Court judge The Honorable Lorraine Parker will be joined by Newton Police Chief Michael Richards for a discussion of their background, education and the tasks that accompany their unique professions. Questions from the audience will be welcome. “Becoming You: Legal & Law Enforcement Careers” will touch on jobs such as police officer, attorney, courtroom clerk, judge and more. The seminar is free and open to teens and adults, but registration is required. Interested participants are encouraged to call 973-940-3500 to register. Project Self-Sufficiency is located at 127 Mill Street in Newton.
