Raymond Handling Concepts Raises Money for Local Breast Cancer Charity
Annual auction and employee contributions combine to create an impact on a topic that hits close to home

Raymond Handling Concepts, had a busy week last week as their Second Annual Pink Pallet Jack Project came to an end, raised close to $7,000 for local breast cancer charities. The company painted one of its popular Pallet Trucks the iconic Breast Cancer Awareness pink for the second year in a row and placed it up for auction. The winning bid was placed by J and K Trucking, who’s $4,500 won the pallet jack and will be a notable amount of the total money donated during Breast Cancer Awareness Month by Raymond Handling Concepts.
“Raymond Handling Concepts is proud to have brought our community together locally to raise money and awareness for breast cancer and the worthy charities that we have teamed with this year,” said Steve Raymond, President of Raymond Handing Concepts Corporation. “The Pink Pallet Jack Project is something we feel passionately about, and we thank each and every person that has either donated directly or bid on this year’s auction. We look forward to another successful campaign in 2016.”
To raise additional funds, the company will continue donating $10 from every pallet truck sold in the month of October and accepting donations on the company’s Material Handling Store. All proceeds will benefit The Tina Turner Memorial Foundation and Northwest Hope and Healing. Thus far, the company has raised more than $6,915 for Breast Cancer charities both locally in Auburn, Washington and in Greene, NY, where the company originated. The company is looking forward to next year’s events, as many of their material handling customers and vendors have offered to help with the Pink Pallet Jack Project next year, which means greater participation and a greater positive impact for those affected by the disease.
