Hilltop Country Day School is opening its doors to the public for the first time ever to host the 2015-2016 Instruct, Inspire, Innovate Speaker Series. All speakers begin at 7 p.m. and are free to the public. Registration is required.

“At Hilltop, a key tenet of our philosophy is facilitating learning outside the classroom walls and this means extending the learning process to our parents and the community at large,” said Head of School Peter Gordon. “As the only independent school in Sussex County, we take very seriously our role as a hub for educating the community at large about key parenting and educational trends.”

Gordon will kick off the series with a not-to-be-missed program “Cultivating Grit In Our Children.” Gordon will discuss how grit it one of the key characteristics for success in today’s world. Children can’t be afraid to take risks and failure is oftentimes where the best learning happens. Come here Mr. Gordon on Thursday, Nov. 5.
