Hopatcong Electronics Recycling Day Coming Oct. 3: What Residents Should Know
Sussex County residents can drop off accepted electronics for free at an upcoming recycling day in Lafayette.
HOPATCONG, NJ — Sussex County residents looking to get rid of old electronics have an upcoming opportunity to recycle accepted items for free.
Electronics Recycling Day is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the SCMUA Solid Waste Facility, 34 Route 94 in Lafayette.
The event gives Hopatcong residents a free way to dispose of a wide range of accepted electronics. The free service is available to residents throughout Sussex County.

Accepted electronics include computers, laptops, tablets, cameras, scanners, televisions, flat screens, speakers, electronic wires, chargers, DVD players, keyboards, printers, modems and other listed electronics. Appliances will not be accepted.
Sussex County schools and agencies may schedule a separate drop-off for Friday, Oct. 2, according to the event notice.
