Hopatcong Kids Promote Drug-Free Lifestyle

Middle school, high school students join effort.

The following is from the Sussex County Center for Prevention & Counseling.

The Community Trials Intervention youth group in Hopatcong brings together middle school and high school aged students  with different interests and a common cause – to promote healthy, drug free lifestyles among their community. Youth leaders will learn responsibility, commitment and leadership.  Leaders will also participate in public speaking events, peer to peer presentations and social media campaigns.

Currently 18 youth in Hopatcong are involved in the CTI Youth Advisory Board and we are looking for more!  If you are over 15 years old, have a willingness to help others, want to make a difference in the community and meet new people then come to our next meeting on Dec. 21 at on Sparta-Stanhope Road in Stanhope at 3:30 p.m. to learn more.
