Hopatcong Kids Show Green Thumbs

District honors winners of Sussex County Soil Conservation Contest.

The following students were honored at Monday's Hopatcong Board of Education meeting at the for being selected as district winners in the Sussex County Soil Conservation Contest by President Cliff Lundin and Superintendent Dr. Charles Maranzano.

"The contest is one element of a comprehensive educational program conducted by the New Jersey Conservation Partnership," the Sussex County Soil Conservation District's website said.

Second and third grade
No. 1 third-grader Kyle Brown
No. 2 third-grader Jusin Cerullo
No. 3 third-grader Aia Moreno
