Hopatcong Man Admits Shooting Near Family Member
Fredrik Greaker pleaded guilty to three different charges in Sussex County Superior Court this week.

A 68-year-old Hopatcong man arrested nearly a year ago for shooting a rifle toward a family member has pleaded guilty to three charges, according to the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Fredrik Greaker was arrested in early April 2012 when police responded to a dispute with a gun at the Arrowcrest Lodge. When officers arrived, they found Greaker had shot a rifle just feet above the bed where his family member was laying after an argument, police said.
The shot was fired from a 1918 Enfield rifle four feet above the bed, police said. The bullet was never recovered.
