Hopatcong School Collects More Than 100 PJs
Part of Hudson Maxim's The Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive, during which Scholastic Book Club matched every pair of donated pajamas with a book.

The following is from school.
In November, Hudson Maxim Elementary School teachers Mrs. (Cindi) Parello, Mrs. (Jamie) Gambuzza, Ms. (Suzanne) Annette and Mrs. (Mary) Nee ran a pajama drive. Over one hundred pairs of pajamas were collected for The Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive. Scholastic Book Club matched every pair of pajamas donated with a book. The books were distributed to group homes, shelters, foster care homes and orphanages in the Sussex County area.
Due to the overwhelming success of the drive, Mrs. (Tracey) Hensz treated the students to a pajama day of their own. On this special day, Mrs. (Nancy) Barnard, Ms. Annette and Mr. (Gerald) Andrewlavage held a Winter Wonderland Story Day for the students. Students were treated to a story about a snowman but more importantly, were taught how their participation in the pajama drive helped other children.
