Hopatcong's elementary schools hosted well-attended parades Friday despite rescheduling.

"We had a great parent turnout and every kid wore their costume," said Hensz, who was Little Red Riding Hood on the back of the Big Bad Wolf. "It was just like a regular Halloween."

And that was Friday, where almost a combined 300 children and about 100 parents participated in split morning and afternoon parades.
Dominik Mayorga, a first-grader in Cindi Parello's class, said he had a great time.
"Every girl I saw was screaming at me!" said Mayorga, who was dressed as a werewolf.
First-grader Jason Morton was a police officer. He was happy because he "got to see my mom my grandma and my brother," he said.
