Local Artist to be featured at International Night of Celebration
The artwork of Patricia Gray Redline will be sold at Open that Bottle Night. Proceeds will benefit Project Self-Sufficiency.

The artwork of local painter Patricia Gray Redline will be available for sale at “Open that Bottle Night” on Saturday, February 28th. The fundraising event, which will be held at the Hudson Farm Club on behalf of Project Self-Sufficiency, is the eighth annual local celebration of the international occasion which traditionally takes place on the last Saturday evening in February. The evening will include rare wines and sumptuous food catered by Chef Kirk Avondoglio of Perona Farms. The work of one local artist is featured at the celebration each year.
“I am honored and thankful to be the featured artist at Open That Bottle Night, 2015,” commented Patricia Gray Redline who will offer paintings in a variety of media and sizes during the evening. “This event supports such a worthy cause. Many women in the community are benefitting from the loving, supportive environment at Project Self-Sufficiency as they build skills to take care of themselves and their children. It is beautiful to see the caring of human beings and the effort that has grown to involve so many wonderful people and lovely creative programs and facilities. I hope to bring a little fun to everyone involved.”
“Open That Bottle Night” was created in 2000 by Dorothy Gaiter and John Brecher, former authors of the Wall Street Journal’s “Tastings” column. The worldwide celebration of friends, families and memories encourages those who have been saving a special bottle of wine to gather together with other wine-enthusiasts and create a memorable wine-tasting experience. Guests are asked to bring their own bottle of wine along, so that they can share their story about its origin with the other attendees. Additional rare and unique wines will be available to supplement those brought along by participants.
