Lyrical Miracle: Hopatcong's Ali Elgazzar Rips Mic, Talent Show

Whiz Kid's Name: Ali Elgazzar

School: Hopatcong High School

Achievement: Captivating talent show crowd.

Key to awesomeness: Elgazzar, a senior, didn't win Tuesday's talent show at Hopatcong High School. Well, not officially. Elgazzar, however, received the night's loudest ovation for his renditions of Nas' "I Know I Can" and Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow." Instead of rapping the artists' verses, Elgazzar crafted his own rhymes, referencing Hopatcong and other subjects to which fellow students could relate. He also went the Will Smith route, keeping it clean for the mostly-teenage audience.
