Middle School to Offer Summer Music Program

For ages 10-14, focusing on singing, acting and dancing.

Are you looking for a fun and affordable camp for your child this summer?  Look no further than the Hopatcong Middle School Summer Musical Theatre Camp!

This two-week intensive camp for Hopatcong students ages 10-14 will run July 25-29 and August 1, 3, 4, and 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The students will hone their singing, acting, and dancing abilities to further their talents as a “triple-threat.”

Students will also sharpen their skills:

  • Learn how to talk like a professional actor.
  • Read a libretto/musical score.
  • Mark a script and make it your own.
  • Understand the rehearsal process and expectations.
  • Discover successful audition techniques.
  • Become a Team Player!

The camp will culminate in the production of High School Musical, Jr. on Friday, Aug 5 at 1 p.m. with free admission.

The cost of the camp is $200 and registration is due by June 22.
