NAMI Local Support Groups In Sparta

NAMI Sussex is pleased to offer a free special program on coping with the holidays during our general membership meeting on Nov. 19th. The holidays can be a stressful time for families dealing with mental illness and this year the current health crisis of COVID-19 brings added stress to the mix. Families will have an opportunity to discuss their experiences, and the presentation will offer resources for coping and self-care during the holiday season.

Additionally, there is PTS Connection Peer Recovery Support Group for veterans, police and first responders recovering from Post-Traumatic Stress as a result of their service. This group meets on 4th Tuesday of the month, 7:00-8:30 p.m.

The location is: Andover United Methodist Church; 207 Andover Sparta Rd., Andover Twp., NJ. (Use Newton, NJ for GPS purposes.)

The use of face masks and social distancing will be required during the COVID-19 pandemic, and participants must sign a waiver.
