The New Hopatcong Calendar and Recycle Planner

I was so excited. I did not believe it at first I had to call the town to verify, and yes, it is MY HOUSE. It doesn’t look the same because an addition was added during the 1950’s, but the original building that you see on the Calendar is now home to a dance studio. What amazes me is that the old building had a dormer in the front, and that dormer is in my attic because they built the addition right OVER the old roof! So the back of the building which is over 100 years old was the old post office, and the front, which looks like a Tudor-style house has a reception area and commercial kitchen downstairs and a 3-bedroom, 2 bath apartment up! But the picture on the calendar is the original building... I’m in awe!
