NJ Cop Threatened 'Terrible Things' To Ex-Girlfriend: Report
The police officer faces charges and has been suspended from the force, reports say.

A New Jersey police officer was charged with several crimes and suspended after threatening to do "terrible things" to his ex-girlfriend, according to a report revealed on Wednesday.
Joseph Lobue, 26, of Hopatcong was charged with one count of third-degree burglary; one count of third-degree terroristic threats; one count of third-degree criminal restraint; and one count of fourth-degree stalking, according to Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch.
The charges resulted from a joint investigation involving the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. The investigation is still ongoing and additional charges are possible.

The information also comes from a criminal complaint and probable cause affidavit revealed by nj.com. Lobue, a Wharton cop, showed up at a woman's house in Andover Township between June 30 to July 4 to "harass and berate" her.
He was told not to return, but he did anyway, pushing the woman down on the coffee table while trying to get her cell phone, then allegedly covered her mouth with his hand to stop her from calling for help, according to the report.

On July 4, the woman called police around 3:30 a.m. to report that Lobue broke into her home and was trying to get into her bedroom, according to the report.
