Paid Training for Eligible Teens, 15 - 17
Paid training and work experience for eligible teens, 15 - 17, at Project Self-Sufficiency this summer.
Eligible Sussex County teens, ages 15 – 17, can receive paid employability skills instruction at Project Self-Sufficiency, and get on-the-job experience at local work sites this summer. The Summer Youth Employment Program will take place Monday – Thursday, July 20th – August 21st. Eligibility is based on family income, lack of transportation, and current enrollment in high school. Free transportation to and from Project Self-Sufficiency and the work sites will be provided to participants. Those who have previously participated in the Summer Youth Employment Program are ineligible. For information about the program visit www.projectselfsufficiency.org.
