Power Outage Hits Sparta Monday Morning

SPARTA, NJ — A power outage hit Sparta Monday morning, leaving over 100 customers in the dark.

According to Sparta Police, 120 customers in the Lake Mohawk area are without power as of 10:36 a.m. JCP&L crews are en route to the scene to determine the cause of the outages.

92 homes are also without power in Vernon township.

Power should be on by noon, JCP&L said on their website.
