Project Self-Sufficiency Welcomes New Board Member Brian Lytwynec
Franklin Mutual Insurance Group President Brian Lytwynec has joined the Project Self-Sufficiency Board of Directors.

Project Self-Sufficiency proudly announces that Franklin Mutual Group President Brian Lytwynec has joined the agency’s Board of Directors. Lytwynec recently relocated to Sussex County from Utica, where he was actively involved in the community. He notes that he was drawn to serve on the agency’s Board of Directors, “Project Self-Sufficiency has a holistic, respectful and practical approach to helping people get to a better place.” Project Self-Sufficiency is a local non-profit organization which helps low-income families in northwestern New Jersey to attain economic self-sufficiency and family stability.
In addition to his strong professional experience as an insurance executive, Lytwynec has a rich and varied background in community service. He previously served as President of the Board of Directors of Family Services of Greater Utica, as well as on the boards of the local United Way and the Mohawk Valley General Hospital. He also served as a Trustee at his church and coached numerous youth sports teams.
“We are delighted to welcome Brian Lytwynec to the Board of Directors at Project Self-Sufficiency,” commented Beverly Gordon, President of the Board of Directors. “His business background, as well as his broad experience with a variety of social service and healthcare organizations, will help us guide the agency through its 30th anniversary year and into the future.”

Project Self-Sufficiency is a private non-profit community-based organization dedicated to improving the lives of low-income families residing in northwestern New Jersey. The agency’s mission is to provide a broad spectrum of holistic, respectful, and comprehensive services enabling low-income single parents, teen parents, two-parent families, and displaced homemakers to improve their lives and the lives of their children while achieving personal and economic self-sufficiency and family stability.
