Rainbows of Learning has recently been approved for the Child Care Aware of America Military Fee Assistance program, a program that allows children of military parents to received subsidized child care. The daycare programs at Rainbows of Learning include infants, young toddlers, advanced, toddlers, intermediate children, and Pre-Kindergarten. In addition to the day-long programs, Rainbows of Learning offers before and aftercare for children up to age thirteen who are attending Frankford Township Schools. Rainbows of Learning is the pilot school for the Center of Prevention and Counseling’s Asset Building Program. This research-based workshop focuses on young children about the importance of building personal assets such as boundaries, clear communication, supportive relationships, conflict resolution, and self-esteem. By helping children identify and strengthen forty assets at the preschool age, the children are better prepared to handle issues such as bullying and peer pressure once they start school.
Rainbows of Learning has a strong history; in fact it is the oldest daycare in Sussex County! In addition to its long daycare history, it operates a preschool that has been recognized by the Newton Board of Education.
