Road Rage Race Leads To Warrant Arrest: Sparta Police
Two drivers went 93 miles per hour in a 55-mile per hour zone during a road rage incident, police said.

SPARTA, NJ — A high-speed road rage race ended in one man's arrest last weekend, Sparta police said.
Santos Vides-Guardado, 21, of Plainfield, was arrested on two warrants Friday night after Sparta police pulled him over for a traffic stop. According to police, Vides-Guardado got into an argument with another driver, and the two began a road race against each other on Route 15, eventually reaching speeds of 93 miles per hour in a 55-mile per hour zone.
Police say a scan of his license revealed he was wanted on two warrants, one from South Plainfield, and the other from Kinnelon. He was arrested and issued new court dates for those towns, as well as a court date in Sparta on speeding, careless driving, and driving while suspended summonses.
