Rockaway Townsquare Job Fair Offers Multitude of Employment Opportunities

Job seekers in the Rockaway-area can learn about new employment opportunities as Simon’s Rockaway Townsquare hosts a Job Fair on Wednesday, September 16. This event, from 5-8 p.m., will feature more than two dozen retailers in search of local talent for both part-time and full-time positions.

“We are pleased to host this Job Fair as it is a great opportunity to connect those in search of employment with a variety of Rockaway Townsquare’s finest retailers,” commented Maria Gregorius, area director of marketing and business development for Rockaway Townsquare. “With the holiday period just around the corner, there are many jobs available ranging from seasonal to permanent positions.”

Among the participating stores include American Eagle, Ann Taylor, Bachrach, Bath & Body Works, buybuy Baby, Charlotte Russe, Claire’s, Coach, dressbarn, Eddie Bauer, Express, Finish Line, Forever 21, Gertrude Hawk Chocolates, JCPenney, Kay Jewelers, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, The Limited, Things Remembered, Vitamin World, Windsor, Zales and others. Tables will be set up outside of each retailer for interested job seekers.

The Job Fair is free and open to the public. Candidates are encouraged to attend ready to impress; with an updated resume as some prospective employers will conduct one-on-one screenings that day while others will accept applications and/or provide additional information about job opportunities at their respective stores.
