Rockaway Townsquare to Welcome Two New Stores
e.l.f. Cosmetics and Journeys Kidz slated to open this summer
Just in time for the back-to-school shopping season, Simon’s Rockaway Townsquare will soon welcome e.l.f. Cosmetics and Journeys Kidz to its lineup of over 180 specialty stores. In addition, existing retailer Journeys has moved its store location and will re-open in July.
Marking its second location in the New Jersey region, e.l.f. Cosmetics will feature its line of luxurious cosmetics and professional tools in a 731 square-foot space when it opens July 15 on the lower level, Sears wing. To celebrate its grand-opening, e.l.f. Cosmetics will be giving away gift cards to the first 50 customers on July 15, 16 and 17 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday.)

The new Journeys Kidz store is scheduled to open its 1,615 square-foot location in August in the existing Journeys space on the upper level (Macy’s wing). Journeys is relocating to the upper level, near Lord & Taylor, and will re-open the weekend of July 15.

Launched in 2001 as an extension of the highly successful Journeys store, Journeys Kidz is a unique branded kids’ footwear retailer, targeting customers five to 12 years old who like trendy shoes and accessories, including Sperry, Polo, Vans, DC, Nike, Puma, UGG, and TOMS.
“We are thrilled to expand our offerings with the addition of e.l.f. Cosmetics and Journeys Kidz at Rockaway Townsquare,” said Maria Gregorius, area director of marketing and business development for Rockaway Townsquare. “These brands will complement the existing retail mix and give shoppers greater options this back-to-school season.”
