Spend Your Saturday with the Cub Scouts

STANHOPE, NJ – The Sussex District of the Patriots’ Path Council invites
any boys entering first grade to 5th grade to spend their day at the
Cub Family Camporee on Saturday June, 7 located at Mount Allamuchy Scout
Reservation (750 Waterloo Road Stanhope) hosted by the Sussex County Boy
Scouts.

The theme for this year’s event
is “The Pirates of Allamuchy.”  This is
an annual event where local packs provide program stations of skills, activities,
fun, and games for Cub Scouts and their friends.  Families are invited to come for a few hours
or spent the whole day.

Activities will include
slingshots, a water pistol range, fishing, games, nature hikes, and more.  They may also stay for the Saturday evening
outdoor movie. The event is free for any boy entering first grade to 5th
grade with their family.  A snack bar
will be available for visitors to purchase lunch.
