Sussex County has updated their coronavirus totals for residents as of Aug. 5, 2020.

As of 12:00 AM on August 4, 2020 the Sussex County Division of Health (SCDOH) announces 2 additional cases of COVID-19 among County residents for a total number of 1356 confirmed cases. Of the 1356 cases, 1157 cases have been classified as recovered. Additionally, the SCDOH reports 1 new death for a total of 197 deaths.
