Teen Bicyclist Runs Stop Sign, Gets Hit By Car: Hopatcong Police
He wasn't wearing a helmet at the time, police said.

HOPATCONG, NJ — A teen bicyclist was hit by a car Wednesday evening after he ran a stop sign, Hopatcong Police said.
The teen was biking on Tulsa Trail at "a high rate of speed" police said, when he didn't stop at the Durban Ave intersection. The teen was hit by a car driving on Durban Ave.
He was thrown from his bike and landed on the grass in front of a home. A witness gave the teen water and a blanket until he could be taken by ambulance to Morristown Hospital.

Despite not wearing a helmet at the time, the teen is okay but "banged up," police said the boy's father told them.
