Teen's Boyfriend Charged in Missing Girl Case
Bloomfield resident knew where Sussex runaway was at all times, lied to police, according to report.

Robert Paige, 18, of Bloomfield has been charged with obstruction after lying to police regarding the whereabouts of his 16-year-old Sussex County girlfriend who ran away from home for nine days, according to njherald.com.

Paige did not tell police where Chesner was during the investigation, and while the two teens were not always together, he was aware of her location, njherald.com reported.

Chesner was found at Paige’s home by two members of the Franklin Borough Police Department–her current hometown–and one member of the Bloomfield Police Department at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
She was first reported missing by her mother on March 25.
