Thursday Morning Fire Sends One To Hospital In Hopatcong

Hopatcong, Roxbury, Stanhope, Netcong, Byram, and Jefferson Fire Departments​ all responded.

HOPATCONG, NJ— A fire Thursday morning sent one to the hospital with burns to his head and face, Lt. Thomas Kmetz said.

Firefighters responded to a Lakeside Boulevard home fire just before noon on March 16. It was not immediately clear if the fire spread to a second structure, or if only one building was affected.

One person sustained burns to their head and face and was driven to Morristown Hospital for treatment.

Hopatcong, Roxbury, Stanhope, Netcong, Byram, and Jefferson Fire Departments, and the Hopatcong Stanhope/Netcong, Lakeland, and Atlantic EMS responded. Hopatcong Police were also on scene.
