VIDEO: Senior Says Goodbye, Hopatcong High

The realization hit James Brennan. And he wanted to talk about it.

So the senior grabbed his video camera and recorded his thoughts on his last full day as a student in the YouTube clip above. Against a bright sky, Brennan says farewell to his fellow classmates while warning incoming freshmen not to believe all they hear.

"Well, ladies and gentleman. Today's the day. Today is my last day as a senior in high school," Brennan said.

"I guess I decided to make this video to say my farewell to all the seniors in Hopatcong High School and for all those freshmen that are going to be going into Hopatcong High School, to the true of my heart, don't actually go for the rumors. All right? They're no such thing."

After a brief deviation from the subject, Brennan offers a final heartfelt goodbye.

"I want to wish the high school staff farewell and to the all the seniors going to [County College of Morris], I'll see you there," he said.
