WHIZ KIDS: 3 Hopatcong Juniors to Learn Government

Whiz Kid Names: Cliff Lundin, Evyn Tarvydas and Steven Munoz.

School: Hopatcong High School

Achievement: Selected as delegates for the 2011 Boys State Selection.

Key to Awesomeness: Lundin, Tarvydas and Munoz are some of Hopatcong's brightest juniors. As delegates, the boys will travel to Rider College and "have the opportunity to govern and interact with some of the top high school juniors from across the State of New Jersey and run your own mythical 51st state," American Legion Jersey Boys State director David S. Bagatelle and American Legion Jersey Boys State Corporation President Theodore J. Howarth Jr. said in a joint letter. They will also learn about problems facing the state's governing bodies—from municipalities to counties to the state.
