Woman Busted On Theft, Forgery Charges In Howell

A 23-year-old Brick woman was indicted this past week on theft and forgery charges in Howell, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

Cera Johnson of Sawmill Road was charged with trying to pass a forged check at a check cashing station on April 9, according to Monmouth County Courthouse records.

Johnson was also accused of stealing $500 at the check cashing station.

The indictment was submitted on Sept. 16. No arrest or bail information was available.
