Howell Man Charged With Heroin Possession

Steven Jarosz allegedly threw some of the heroin -- in wax folds -- on the ground.

A Howell Township man is facing heroin possession charges after police found 45 wax folds containing the drug on him during a traffic stop last week.

Steven Jarosz, 46, was charged with heroin possession and issued motor vehicle summonses, Howell Sgt. Eileen Dodd said.

Howell Patrolman Eric Encarnacion conducted a motor vehicle stop on May 19 with assistance from the township’s Crime Suppresion Unit on a car Jarosz was driving, Dodd said. Jarosz was the subject of several narcotics-related complaints in the Ramtown section of town, she said.
