Howell Police Urge Motorists To Stay Off The Roads
A crash closed Church Road in Howell and prompted yet another reminder to drivers and residents.

HOWELL, NJ — As residents and authorities continue to watch the second round of a nor'easter that is predicted to bring heavy snow to much of New Jersey, Howell authorities are urging motorists to stay off the roads.
Forecasters have curtailed their snow predictions slightly, trimming them back to a maximum of 14 inches where 18 inches had originially been forecast, but authorities throughout the area were warning residents that the calm of Wednesday morning was not an indication the storm is over.
"Church Road is CLOSED between Ford and Kent due to this car/pole crash," Howell police said in a post on Facebook about 10:30 a.m., adding the occupants of the SUV suffered minor injuries. "Please stay off the roads if you don’t need to be out."
