Man Indicted In Vehicle Assaults That Injured 3 People In Howell

A Toms River man is facing three counts of assault by auto in connection with a January incident that injured three people in Howell Township.
Nicholas A. Kube, 27, of Vaughn Avenue, Toms River, was indicted last week on one third- and two fourth-degree counts of assault by auto by a Monmouth County grand jury sitting in Freehold. The third-degree count alleges he drove recklessly and caused serious injuries to one person and bodily injuries to two others, all of whom were identified only by their initials.
He also was indicted on a count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, hydrocodone.
