Residents have been fighting the proposal for the site, off Randolph and Oak Glen roads, over traffic concerns and are urging officials to delay a decision until a traffic study is completed on the potential impact of a proposed transfer station on Randolph Road.

This application was originally scheduled to be heard on April 4, but was rescheduled to May 9. Testimony was heard May 9, June 6, June 20, July 29, Sept. 19, Oct. and Nov. 7. It was scheduled for a special meeting on Tuesday but that had to be rescheduled due to the planned township Christmas tree lighting event.
