Two Howell Men Among Five Charged With Burglary, Theft

A 22-year-old Toms River man and four other area residents have been indicted on burglary and theft charges, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

The others were Thomas Lasala, 26, of Howell; John P. Anderson, 27, of Howell; Jonathan Brownell, 27, of Jackson; and Angela Simeone, 20, of Lakewood.

The five suspects allegedly entered a structure on Sept. 9 belonging to a “C.B.” with the purpose “to commit an offense therein,” according to court records.

The five were also indicted on theft-of-movable-property charges because they allegedly took a safe, headphones, video games and/or airsoft guns valued in excess of $500, according to court records.
