• Essex County Daily Buzz: Sep. 9, 2026 (jerseybee.org) — Irvington residents can pick up free food bags on Sept. 12 at 50 Union Ave and access Essex County's mobile health clinic with children's vaccines at Irvington Park on Sept. 16. Locals are also eligible for a tree-stewardship conference scholarship and can tap regional tools to find food pantries and other support across Essex County.
   

• West Orange Daily Buzz: Sep. 9, 2026 (jerseybee.org) — Essex County's mobile health clinic will visit Irvington Park on Sept. 16, offering children's vaccines to local families. Irvington residents are also eligible for a fully funded tree-stewardship conference scholarship, while nearby towns host cultural events, job-training sessions, and food-access resources that Irvington neighbors can take advantage of across Essex County.
   

• NJCRC Fines Company $10K for Opening Bags, Plans to Evaluate SEEF Tax (headynj.com) — State cannabis regulators approved Vibe Irvington LLC to move from a conditional to an annual retail microbusiness license, potentially paving the way for a new legal dispensary serving Irvington residents. The meeting also featured a $10,000 fine for a separate company, a pending review of the Social Equity Excise Fee tax, and several other license approvals and regulatory tweaks affecting New Jersey's cannabis market.
