• Armed Suspect Bursts Into Newark Home, Fatally Shoots 21-Year-Old Irvington Man Dead (rlsmedia.com) — A 21-year-old man from Irvington was fatally shot Monday evening inside a Newark South Ward residence, and Essex County authorities are now investigating. Officials say the victim was attacked by an armed intruder on South 16th Street and later died at University Hospital. No suspect information or motive has been released yet.
