Local Newton, NJ Attorney, Colleen Cunningham has been elected as a Director of the Solo and Small Firm Committee—New Jersey State Bar Association

NEWTON, NJ—Colleen M. Cunningham, Esq., of the Law Office of Colleen M. Cunningham, LLC, Newton, New Jersey has been elected to serve as one of the Directors of the Solo and Small Firm Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. 

“I am honored to serve on the Executive Committee of such an important section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and I am excited to represent Sussex County,” Ms. Cunningham stated. 

Prior to beginning her private practice, Ms. Cunningham served as Assistant Prosecutor in the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and as Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Lorraine C. Parker, Judge-Appellate Division.

Ms. Cunningham specializes in criminal, juvenile and municipal court matters and as well as civil litigation and probate matters.  As an Adjunct Professor at Sussex County Community College in the Paralegal Studies program, she lectures in several courses including Business Law, Introduction to Legal Studies and Law Office Management and Real Estate Transactions.  In addition, Ms. Cunningham has also been an instructor for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Morris County Police and Fire Academy. 

She is a member of the Sussex County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association as well as other committees.
