Rose Marie Hoentz, 74, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013.
She was born in Wilkes Barre, PA to Josephine (nee Zagata) and John Zalesny.
She married LeRoy Hoentz and together they raised their two sons Robert and Richard in Oak ridge, NJ.

Mrs. Hoentz was employed for many years as an office manager at McWilliams Forge in Denville, NJ.
She was a proud parishioner at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Oak Ridge, as well as an active member of the Jefferson Township Senior Center.

Mrs. Hoentz will best be remembered and cherished for her nurturing and uplifting spirit. Her greatest love was for her family.
Mrs. Hoentz was predeceased by her husband LeRoy in 2009.
She is survived by her two sons Richard Hoentz of Oak Ridge, and Robert Hoentz of Budd Lake, NJ; her sisters Joan Franzoni of Passaic, and Barbara Paz and her husband Joseph of Clifton, NJ; her brothers Joseph Zalesny and his wife Patricia of Clifton, and John Zalesny of Conn; her nieces Lynn Witkowski, Jackie Schimmel, Cathy Fitzgerald, and Robin and Wendy Midkiff; her nephews Edward Franzoni, Joseph Paz, and Alex Hoentz.
She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Sandra Midkiff; her brothers–in-law Reginald Hoentz and his wife Dianne; and Leslie Hoentz.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 1-5pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, 5635 Berkshire Valley Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438. Immediately following the Mass she will be interred next to her husband in St. Thomas Cemetery, adjacent to the church.
