Spencer Savings Bank hired a new Mortgage Originations Officer

Rose Alvarado joined Jim Harilaou and Spencer Savings Bank’s Mortgage Origination team on December 31, 2012. Together the two have over 24 years of banking experience. Rose Alvarado will cover all of the bank’s online mortgage inquiries, internet and newspaper leads.

Rose’s background speaks for itself.  She brings twelve years of banking experience from companies like Fleet Bank, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Valley National Bank. She obtained knowledge in areas of first mortgages, consumer credit, business credit, and retail banking. 

Rose is knowledgeable in mortgages and finances, as well as articulate and well-written. In addition to graduating from Katherine Gibbs, Rose Alvarado has taken classes at Rutgers and Passaic Community College. Her pleasant personality immediately fit in with the Spencer team, and she is adapting well into the Mortgage Originations Group.

Jim Harilaou, who has been with Spencer for twelve years, graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in Finance. In addition to his time at Spencer Savings Bank, Jim has seven years of mortgage lending experience from United Jersey Bank, Hudson Bank, Interchange Bank, and Champion Mortgage Co.  He now covers all of the banks nineteen retail banking branches, as well as all outside business, including his personal client network.
