Area Director Unites Music, Movies For Cancer Research Benefit

With the release of his new horror film "Infliction," Jack Thomas Smith and his company Fox Trail Productions is teaming up with the The Quinn Spinn radio show for a night of music and movies to benefit cancer research.

Smith, who released his newest film yesterday with Virgil Films & Entertainment, is combining a days worth of music and movies at Entertainment For A Cure, which will take place at the Camp Jefferson Amphitheater located at 81 Weldon Rd.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society and Camp Jefferson.

The lineup includes six rock bands from 1 to 8 p.m., with a screening of "Infliction" at 9 p.m. The event if family-friendly and will feature a screening of cartoons and children's movies at the camp's indoor theater.

"It’s going to be a fun day. We’re excited to support a cause so important to many of us,” Quinn Spinn founder Gerard Longo, who is an 11-year cancer survivor, said.

 
Tickets may be purchased in advance for $20 by following this link. Tickets are $25 at the gate and $10 for children.
