Spring Is Here! Enjoy It With Your Children!

Spring is an enchanting season as the world around us is refreshing or starting over. 

Since I work with children, I anxiously await the beginning of spring to go outside and explore.  Children as well as  adults are so tired of being inside for the long winter....and this winter has truly been long! 

Take advantage of the spring days to explore and learn.  All children have wonderful imaginations and a natural curiosity of the world around them.  Take advantage of this and take them outside.  See what piques their curiosity and then take them to a new level of learning. 

If they are interested in bugs,  then go on a bug hunt.  Bring the ruler and sharpen their math skills as they search for the biggest bug.  Then come home and search online to learn more about their favorite insect.  

Spring brings an abundance of opportunities whether it is baby birds, the growth of new flowers, tadpoles turning to frogs or changing weather patterns.  Find your child's area of interest and use it for a great learning adventure.  There are fun ways to  take that interest and creatively explore math, science, history and reading.
