Flahery Leads Girls Past Pope John

Two Jefferson High teams competed on Thursday, but only one was able to walk away with a victory as the volleyball team earned its fourth win of 2011.

Girls Volleyball Wins

Kristen Flaherty had a team-high 10 kills to help lead the Jefferson girls volleyball team past Pope John, 2-1, according to NJ.com. Sara Voorhees had 20 assists and Edjae Villamor added 25 digs for Jefferson (4-10).

The Jefferson field hockey team fell to Pope John, 3-0, according to NJ.com. Alexandria Taveras had six saves for Jefferson (8-3-1).
