Flu Vaccine Clinic, Cub Scouts Meet, Soccer Pasta Dinner

Here's what you need to know for Wednesday.
- The time to get vaccinated is now. Which makes Wednesday a day of note in Jefferson, as the township offers a Flu Vaccine Clinic for residents. From 2-8 p.m., men and women ages 18 and up are welcome to protect themselves against flu—a serious illness that potentially can kill. The cost is $15. (Medicare Part B is reimbursable. Medicare HMO is not accepted as payment.) You must reserve your spot: Call 973-663-0700. The Jefferson Township Public Health Center is at 57 Minnisink Road in Lake Hopatcong.
- Jefferson's Cub Scout Pack 49, Den 9 comes together Wednesday afternoon to make strong men out of good boys. The group meets at 2:45 p.m. at White Rock Elementary School, 2 Francine Place in Oak Ridge.
- The Jefferson Township Boys Soccer Association hosts a Pasta Dinner at its meeting Wednesday. The event kicks off at 5:15 p.m. at Jefferson High School, 1010 Weldon Road in Oak Ridge.
