Girls Field Hockey Wins in OT

Four Jefferson teams competed on Friday.

Lauren Ransegnola scored in overtime to help lead the Jefferson girls field hockey team past St. Elizabeth, 1-0, in Jefferson, according to Jefferson head coach Kasey Farris.

The Falcons managed 14 shots on goal in this one, but St. E’s goalie Maura Wester was able to deflect all of them, until the games deciding goal from Ransegnola.

Jefferson goalie Alexandria Taveras stopped all three shots she faced.

Boys Soccer Falls

Two goals and an assist from Dylan Johnson wasn’t enough to help the Jefferson boys soccer team past Dover, as the Falcons fell 4-3, according to NJ.com. Michael Montague also scored for Jefferson (7-9).

Girls Volleyball Loses

The Jefferson girls volleyball team fell to Morris Hills, 2-0, according to NJ.com.

The Jefferson girls soccer team dropped a tough one to St. Elizabeth, 1-0, according to NJ.com. Jefferson is 3-10-2 this season.
