1939, is celebrating a grand re-opening and recent recognition as Northern New Jersey’s first Boar’s Head Deli of Distinction®, a title reserved for a select
few notable independent delicatessens nationwide. Under the management of Dan
Hayek, third generation of the Hayek family, Hayek’s Market is part of Newton’s
tradition and history.
After an extensive remodeling, Hayek’s Market customers are invited to experience the newly updated state of the art facility while shopping for premier homemade foods prepared by a dedicated professional staff. To celebrate this remodel, Hayek’s Market will be hosting a grand re-opening celebration for friends, local residents and customers beginning on October 26 and lasting two weekends.
Hayek’s Market is only the 17th store nationwide to be recognized as a Boar’s Head Deli of Distinction, an honor awarded to only a select few delicatessens across the country as recognition for promoting the highest standards of quality and customer service. As a Deli of Distinction, Hayek’s Market offers a complete array of Boar's Head products from Boar's Head hams and turkeys, Italian products, roast beef and bolognas, to a fine selection of exceptional cheeses. Beginning Saturday, October 26th and lasting through the next two weekends, Hayek’s Market will welcome the entire community to take part in the grand re-opening and celebration of becoming the newest Deli of Distinction. Newton residents and customers can look forward to events and activities including a Boar’s Head sample station of cheese and appetizers, a Boar’s Head hotdog cart with proceeds supporting Newton Fire Department, and a live band performance and wine tasting on November 2, 2013.
