The
Jefferson Township Museum, also known as the George Chamberlin House, will have
an open house on Sunday, March 2, 2014, from
1 to 4 pm. Costumed
docents will give tours of the museum at that time. Admission is free. This month’s exhibit will be “Little House in the Valley” ,which is a
theme that will run throughout the year as a homage to literature of the period
and in celebration of New Jersey’s 350 years. The Museum, located at 315
Dover-Milton Road, was entered into the National and State Registers of
Historic Places. Be sure to visit Miss Elizabeth’s Shoppe located in the
original kitchen of the Museum, where small antiques, collectibles, handmade
