Your daily planner for Jefferson Township

Here's what you need to know for Thursday.
Take your young-un out for a funtastic journey through the world of books. The Jefferson Township Library presents Storytime for Ages 5 and Up every Thursday afternoon from 4-5 p.m. The series runs through Nov. 21 (it will not be held Oct. 31 or Nov. 14). Did we mention it's free? And the only catch is, you must pre-register. To do so, head to the library website. The library is located at 1031 Weldon Road.
We are into October, midterms are closer than you think and some parents are still getting acquainted with their children's teachers. Back to School Night takes place at Jefferson Township High School and Middle School. Both events take place Thursday at 7 p.m. The high school is at 1010 Weldon Road; J-Town Middle is nearby at 1000 Weldon Road.
A Taste of Jefferson, which showcases local eateries and raises funds for the Jefferson Arts Committee, doesn't take place until Oct. 12, but if you own a restaurant, bakery, delicatessen or food-related business, you may wish to be represented at this delicious annual happening. Now's the time to get in touch with the committee to reserve a spot: Contact artscommittee@jeffersonarts.org or call 973-697-3828 for more information. Restaurant patron? Hang tight—Patch will have Taste details for you next week.
