'Made You Look' Photography Exhibit Makes Audience Look
Middle school students and teachers show off their talents.
Who knew how hard it would be to find a flower to photograph in the middle of the area's long, cold winter. Some Jefferson Township middle school photographers found out.
The middle school's GATEways Program, taught by Nancy Harris, presented "Made You Look," a photography exhibit at the middle school on Tuesday night. Students and faculty submitted photos that they'd taken under challenges of finding the following subjects: a favorite childhood toy, something in the air, a pet, time, a postcard shot, a pattern in nature, something in the corner, a flower or plant, a worm's eye view, a reflection, eyes, a belief, happiness, light, wind, water, a statue, a window, shoes, food or old.
Student photos on display included submissions by Sierra L'Altrelli, Morgan Felter, Ashley Nichols, Ariana Lleshi, Skylar Farmer, Melissa Webber and high school sophomore Lauren Monaco. All the students are participating in independent study classes in photography.
