Naked Sunbather Arrested After Neighbor Complains

A Jefferson Township man ended up with his hands in cuffs after letting his privates soak in the sun.

On June 4, police received a call saying Edward Bonacore, 55, was sitting on his front porch without any clothing, trying to catch some rays and get a tan, Capt. Eric Wilsusen said.

Bonacore could be seen from the street, Wilsusen said. When Officer Eric Sudak arrived he arrested the Jefferson Township man, who was later charged with lewdness.

Bonacore did not give a reason for his nakedness and was required to put on clothing before entering the patrol car, Wilsusen said.

He was released with a scheduled court appearance.
